Sign Our Petition to the Governor

Governor Gregoire,

We are writing to ask you to sign three important bills into law:

The Children's Safe Products Act (E2SHB 2647) protects children from lead, cadmium, and phthalates in products they use everyday and provides parents with information to make safer product choices for their children.

The Working Families Tax Credit (ESSB 6809) offers the most significant improvement to our exceptionally regressive state tax system for lower-wage workers in 30 years.

Local Solutions to Global Warming (ESSB 6580) gives local governments new tools to assess and understand the global warming pollution caused by irresponsible development and traffic.

We are supporting these three bills because they are built on the progressive values that inspire us to build a Washington that is safer, healthier and offers more equal opportunities. Please stand with the people of the great State of Washington and sign these bills into law as they were passed by the Legislature.
